I thought it would be a fun day off, to seek out a photo of a place I frequent that seems out of the ordinary. This path I like to walk was recently flooded, well semi-recently, and it transformed a normally well-used bench into a very lonely bench. It is longer than it appears. It looks now like a single chair as I view it, but it is wide enough to accommodate 3 people. Normally you would see walkers, runners, cyclists and nature lovers such as birders and other wildlife observers along this path. Today was a time to let the path rest and I was fortunate enough to capture it with only the slightest of wind ripples on the surface. Forgive me for not working today, but I am weary from much work as of late. I hope you enjoyed the relaxing pic.
