When Looking for Stand-Out Photography Prints for your Walls

As you may have discovered, the perfect print is not all there is, to purchasing and hanging it. There's a bit more to consider. 

Even when you find the one that fits your need. you must also achieve where it will hang, at what size the print will be for its best showing on that wall. All of us have at one time or another found the art, then after hanging, find it simply doesn't achieve the effect you wanted. Here's why.

Why does it not give that Stand-Out Look? 

Size matters. If you're trying to squeeze in a large printing among many others it will not have the impact you are hoping for. Nor will it embellish or Stand-Out surrounded by personal photos, such as family or children's school photos. Those are meant to be together and only them. Alternatively, if you have a large wall area and hang a modest print, you will find it lost in a blank space. A large area on a wall needs a large print. And too, the background of the wall should be a color that emphasizes the impact that print that you choose in order to take a commanding presence. If you are hanging a lighter brighter print, on a darker colored background the impact will be striking. Not so if you were to hang that same print on a similar light colored wall. 

Not as often but similarly even the room layout can have an effect. Take a room which can be defined as minimalist. That room in most cases will lend that Stand-Out feel to almost any properly sized print. However a crowded room, while if all other considerations are a given, will diminish to some extent, the drama, the emotive element that your elected print and frame will have.

Knowing how these factors can affect the stylish impact, do not let your aim at perfection prohibit you from the enjoyment of your selected prints.
