Is Inflation Happening in the Art World?

Inflation is not happening within the world of art, YET

Here is my photographic prints website so you can see why I've written this article for you, Affordable Wall Art  by Rich Collins, and here's but a single example

It is happening elsewhere, and it appears it will continue to increase throughout the world. If for example, you have spent even five minutes looking at the cost of rent and housing, you've found that inflation has skyrocketed to a level that has caused home prices, though not rent to be in a state of limbo. So much so that counties are recording a dramatic slowdown in population increases, as people are in effect, financially burdened with staying in their existing homes for the time being.

Automobiles and truck dealerships, are also reluctant to raise prices, which has already slowed consumer interest, as the tariffs have dissipated the profits to a lower tier, meaning rising prices would slow sales even further.

Restaurant menu prices, brand name groceries, tires, fuel, even household goods, from paper plates to major appliances have all risen to such a degree that we are finding ourselves, questioning is this product we are habitually buying, really a necessity? Or has it become a luxury?

But in the world of wall art, you will find, is still available at a very fair and value-driven price, for both short term and longer term, but not for a long term. Decorating your walls is still an affordable choice to make. I want you to do yourself a favor, and perhaps thinking ahead to next year, think twice about spending as much as you did this year on fireworks, or concert/theater tickets, dining out, replacement furniture, more than affordable exercise equipment, club memberships, sports channels, you name it, and think about how much the art in your home truly means to you and how affordable it still is. The caveat is this will only last as long as the tariffs don't expose us to imported printing costs. Large scale printers are mostly all produced out of the US, so the rise will happen. But there is still some time left, which by any standard is the unpredictable leverage.
