Which of these Reasons do You Choose to Changeup your Wall Art?

  1. Change of Style or Taste: Over time, people's tastes and preferences can evolve. Homeowners may feel that the existing art no longer aligns with their current aesthetic or style preferences. They might want to replace it with artwork that better reflects their evolving tastes or matches the updated interior design of their home.

Desire for Refreshment: Sometimes homeowners simply want to refresh the look and feel of their living space. Changing the artwork can be an effective way to introduce a new visual element and create a fresh atmosphere. It can help prevent the space from feeling stagnant or monotonous.

Personal Connection: Art is often deeply personal, and homeowners may have a strong emotional connection to certain pieces. However, over time, they may seek new art that resonates with them on a more profound level or represents a different phase of their life. They might want to replace the existing artwork with pieces that evoke stronger emotional responses or have a deeper personal significance.

  1. Investment Value: Art can be an investment, and homeowners may consider replacing existing art with pieces that have greater potential for appreciation in value. This motivation is particularly relevant to collectors or individuals who view art as a financial asset. They might sell their current artwork to acquire new pieces that are expected to hold or increase their value over time.

Seasonal or Occasional Themes: Some homeowners enjoy changing the decor in their homes based on seasons or special occasions. They might replace art to match specific themes associated with holidays, cultural events, or personal celebrations. This allows them to create a festive or mood-specific ambiance during different times of the year.

Art Rotation: Homeowners who have a substantial collection of artwork may choose to rotate pieces periodically. By swapping out the existing art with stored or alternative pieces, they can enjoy different works throughout the year, preventing any single piece from becoming overly familiar or losing its impact.

Increased Knowledge and Exposure: Homeowners may develop a deeper appreciation for art over time, gaining knowledge and exposure to new artists, styles, or artistic movements. As they learn more about the art world, they may feel compelled to replace existing pieces with those that align with their expanded understanding and reflect a broader range of artistic expressions.

How to Plan Your Wall Art Upgrades

Everyone of Us wants to add or redo our Artworks, but the key is in the planning, and here's how to do it Best

Your first step will be to reassess your focus on what art you like as you have moved along in life. Some of us never change our love of certain types of art, yet so many more of us change or add to the types of works we find pleasing, energizing, or memorable. Think about what you've had hung up, such as paintings or whatever other kinds of works you've had hung over time. If those still please you, fine keep a few. otherwise, examine what your home looks like now, as opposed to how it was, to how it is now and refocus on some new pieces that really reach you.

A good place to start is online, and this is where I will add my websites for one of your options, Rich Collins Photographic Art.

If you find a piece, spend a minute or two on imagining where you will place it. Also think of where it might look its best, such as the edge of wall rather than in the center. Today's placements are different than in the past. Simplifying art walls that once were cluttered, is the new classic. Don't overdo it. Let the placement on your wall make the statement, as well as the art does.

From this point, you can pick from just a few, say 3 or 4 to choose from. Keep it simple to get started. Choose those then take a pic mom each and hold your phone pic up as you are viewing your wall just to get a sense of how it will look. Remember if you have already redecorated or not just keep that in mind as you consider the wall and the print location. Keep moving through the pics as you see them on your wall until the one that really hits you makes that statement you are looking for.At that point you'll know it's the one.

Be sure you have taken the time to find the correct matting and frame to enhance your choice and know that your purchase is guaranteed and it ships within 3-4 days
